| ABSTRACT |
This paper describes ten species of monocentric chytrids that were isolated and purified. They are Rhizophydium chaetiferum, R. haynaldii, R. laterale, Rhizophlyctis variabilis, R. mastigotrichis, Phlyctochytrium planicorne, Chytriomyces hyalinus, Catenochytridium carolinianum, Allochytridium expandens, and Entophlyctis confervae-glomeratae. Except for Phlyctochytrium planicorne, all species are new to Taiwan. |
